Carl Thomas achieved distinction for his tribute
performances to the late-1950s/1960s star Bobby
Darin at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and at the
Copa Room in the Sands Hotel, Atlantic City, among
other venues.
With a resemblance to Darin, Carl lists the Big Band
performer who spent summers on Staten Island
among his favorites.
Carl's recent show at the Rex Manor in Brooklyn,
where he was backed by a seven-piece orchestra,
brought the house down.
The Huguenot resident appeared on the same bill
with the talented Louis Prima Jr., who masterfully
carries on the legacy of his famous dad -- as well as
a repertoire of his own original tunes.
